Food Allergy Support Group
Having a child with food allergies can be a difficult situation to deal with. This group is for those with family members with food allergies to share resources, stories and gain information.
Book Club
The Book Club meets several times annually to discuss the current novel and select the next. It is a wonderful opportunity to discuss books you love and are disappointed when a good one ends. This sub-club is also great for moms who love to read but need a deadline to stay motivated to finish.
Knitting
The Knitting Mamas meet occassionally at local coffee shops. Join them for a beginner’s knitting lesson or for a place to work on your projects without the kids. Knitters, crocheters and needle-pointers of all skill levels are welcome!
Scrapbook Club
The Scrapbook Club meets monthly, either at member’s homes or local scrapbook stores. This is a great chance for moms to get away and catch up on preserving all those pictures taken of our children.
Beginners are always welcome!
The Foodies
The Foodies meet every couple of months to prepare and share a meal together. Past themes have included Italian, Oktoberfest, Desserts, Family BBQ and Gingerbread House party for the kids. We alsos have had chef-taught classes. You need not be a gourmet cook to join…just share a love of food and getting together with friends.
Special Needs Support Group
This group is a place for parents of children with special needs, or those who suspect they may be, to ask questions and share resources, stories and gain information.
Walking Group
Walking is great exercise and the Walking Group is designed to get us out there! We have so many great trails right in our backyard! Most of our walks are spur of the momement, or planned on short notice, with the exception of our monthly Family Hike on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Walks are held on paved trails that are stroller friendly.
